Meet Your Trainer
Ashly Peters has been passionate about animals since before she could talk. The mindset and skill to train animals big and small evolved quickly to friends and family seeking advice which quickly sparked a passion for helping others with their own animals. At an early age Ashly spent most of her free time working with her own animals or volunteering at the local humane society working with all sorts of dogs, mainly those who suffered because they weren’t the easiest to deal with or had behavioral issues. Ashly especially found the challenging dogs intriguing and seeing their progress while she worked with them a rewarding experience which led to expanding Ashly’s training diversity by diving much deeper into dog behavior and training.
As time went on Ashly flourished from general obedience and behavior modification to getting involved with the working dog world and thus finding a whole new level of passion and appreciation for the amazing canine species. Ashly began to mentor under phenomenal high end trainers in both California and Oregon and became very involved in training and trialing dogs and competing in Working Dogs of America, AKC Obedience and Schutzhund/IGP. In Spring of 2019 Ashly competed in Working dogs of Amercia Regionals with 2 of her dogs and not only won high in trial, but also qualified both dogs for 2020 WDA Nationals. In late summer of 2020 Ashly also earned a BH with her dog Kaiyah at the IGP Pacific Northwest Regionals.

Enjoying finding shed antlers or morel mushrooms puts their training to real life applications. Floating down the river in a boat and enjoying a great partnership are all ways Ashly ensures each dog is steadfast making well rounded dogs who can do it all.
Ashly is also an official AKC Canine Good Citizen, STAR Puppy, and trick dog evaluator in addition to dog trainer.
